Dr. Marlee Laméris, DC, BSc, CACCP
###Chiropractor | Prenatal & Pediatric Care###
>Dr. Marlee Laméris is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and caring for babies and children in Calgary. While her advanced training focuses on prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care, she supports families at every stage of life — including mothers long after childbirth and fathers seeking to stay active, strong, and well.
>Alberta born and raised, Dr. Marlee lives in Calgary with her husband and two children. After earning her Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Alberta, she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, graduating Cum Laude with Clinic Honours.
>Dr. Marlee has advanced training in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. She is certified in the Webster Technique, a chiropractic approach commonly used to support pelvic balance during pregnancy. She also holds Pediatric Certification (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), equipping her to provide safe, gentle, and developmentally appropriate care for infants and children.
>She regularly supports expectant mothers experiencing pelvic discomfort, low back and hip pain, round ligament tension, and postural changes throughout pregnancy. Her goal is to help women move through pregnancy with greater comfort and confidence while preparing their body for birth.
>For newborns and infants, Dr. Marlee works with families navigating feeding challenges, tension patterns, preference to turn one direction, unsettled behaviour, and early developmental milestones. Techniques for babies are extremely gentle and tailored to their stage of development, using light, specific pressure appropriate for their growing bodies.
>Beyond pregnancy and early childhood, Dr. Marlee continues to support mothers through postpartum recovery and the physical demands of motherhood. She also cares for other family members seeking relief from pain, improved mobility, and long-term spinal health.
>Dr. Marlee utilizes Diversified technique/manual adjustments, Graston, MRT, and holds advanced training in Activator and Thompson techniques. She selects the most appropriate method based on the individual needs of each patient, always prioritizing comfort, safety, and evidence-informed care.
>As both a chiropractor and a mom, Dr. Marlee understands how important it is to feel heard, supported, and confident in the decisions you make for your family. She strives to create a calm, welcoming space where expectant mothers feel supported through every stage of pregnancy and parents feel confident advocating for their child’s health.
>When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her on the soccer field, at the park with the kids, reading a good book, or out for a walk with her black lab, Aero.
